Anti Ageing Treatment In Dwarka
Ageing is a natural process and it cannot be stopped or reversed. That said, there are several anti-ageing procedures that can help one look younger by reducing the effect of ageing on the skin. The prominent anti-ageing treatments are:-
Â
1. Microdermabrasion
In Dermabrasion a rotating brush is used but in Microdermabrasion a machine is used to sprinkle small, tiny particles on the affected skin. Under both procedures, the topmost layer of the skin is removed. Since Microdermabrasion gives a milder treatment, the recovery time taken is much less than Dermabrasion. It can be applied to all types of skin. However, since Microdermabrasion is milder, the number of treatments required is more to get the desired results. Microdermabrasion is so mild that it can be regularly used as an anti-ageing treatment.
2.Chemical Peels
One of the cosmetic treatments mainly applied to the face, neck and hands, is called Chemical Peels. It is a cosmetic treatment and results in the improvement of glow or texture of the skin. When chemical peels are applied to the skin, the dead skin exfoliates and peels off and the skin becomes smoother. The resultant improvement in texture and tone of skin even reduces the appearance of fine wrinkles. The skin is also tightened due to the stimulation of fresh collagen. As a result, fine wrinkles and large pores become less visible. Since the old dead skin is removed, the fresh skin looks much younger. The different types of scars from past acne can be reduced from chemical peels. Most common forehead wrinkles, damaged skin due to harmful UV rays of the sun and uneven skin tone can all be reduced/removed with the help of chemical peels. Since the ageing of the skin is a natural process, the assistance of chemical peels is widely taken for younger-looking and glowing skin. The light or medium chemical peels are used depending upon the depth of wrinkles /laxity /discolouration. If the damage is more, the repair required also increases. Chemical peel is also used for reducing fine lines under the eyes and surrounding the mouth, reducing the visibility of scars, reducing dark patches due to pregnancy, reducing age spots or freckles and finally improving the smoothness and glow of the skin. The quality of the result depends on the number of repeated treatments taken.
Chemical peels are almost painless. However, the resulting redness caused due to medium peel skin-burn may take 5 to 7 days to heal. A slight tingling, burning, itching, dryness or redness may be felt but it ultimately depends on the sensitivity of the skin. Since chemical peel forces the dead skin cells to shed and peel off, the peeling may continue up to 5-7 days. The dead skin should not be forcibly and prematurely peeled off as it may result in hyperpigmentation. Applying some good moisturizer is advisable during the period of peeling off. After a chemical peel, the sensitivity of the skin increases. Hence, applying good quality sunscreen before going out in the sunlight is essential. The sunscreen should be above SPF 30.
3. Medium Chemical Peels are used for the treatment of deeper wrinkles, loosening of skin and its discolouration. After the old aged and damaged skin is exfoliated and replaced by fresher skin, visible improvement is observed even after one peel. However, removing damaged skin accumulated over years requires multiple treatments over time for reversing the damage already done. The best results are obtained over a period of repeated peels. While light chemical peel should be repeated every 3 to 5 weeks, the medium chemical peel requires repetition every three to eight months. The deep chemical peels are different and are performed only once. The results obtained last from 3 to 6 months.
4. Fractional Laser Skin Resurfacing
Under this type of anti-ageing treatment, the deep layers of skin columns needing correction are targeted and damaged using a special laser. The damaged skin results in the stimulation of new fresh skin cell growth. Gradually the new smoother and younger skin replaces the damaged skin. Wrinkles and fine lines can be easily removed using Fractional Laser Skin Resurfacing. The recovery is quick post-treatment and discomfort, if any, is minimal. To get the optimum results, the treatment requires repetitions until the desired result is achieved.
5. Dermal Fillers
For anti-ageing treatment, Dermal fillers are used to smoothen out the wrinkles and lines mainly appearing on the face, lips and hands. There are several types of dermal fillers including hyaluronic acid gel, collagen and fats. The longevity of dermal fillers depends on the type of fillers used on the skin. While collagen dermal fillers have the shortest duration, the longest-lasting dermal fillers use their own body fat. The dermal fillers derived from body fat can last from one to three years. There is no recovery period post the dermal fillers procedure and the results become visible instantaneously.
6.Nonablative Skin Rejuvenation
Nonablative skin rejuvenation is another anti-ageing treatment where the outer layer of skin is not removed. Lasers and some other types of procedures are used for Nonablative skin rejuvenation to smoothen out wrinkles, skin spots due to ageing and loss of skin tone due to ageing. Several sessions are required and it takes a few months before the desired results are obtained. There is no recovery time post treatment.
